I have been working with the hearing impaired for 6 years now and truly love my job. We are constantly trying new things to better ourselves in the hearing industry, we never give up and my motto is “everything is fixable”.
I have been working on a auditory training program for several years now which has been a lot of fun. There are so many training programs and ideas for auditory training, it is amazing. I want the best for all my patients and I am a perfectionist when it comes helping them hear. I know that I cannot restore their hearing, but I want the patients to hear and enjoy life to the best of their ability.
Recently I have taken the plunge into starting all over again and helping to develop a new hearing aid center in my hometown. Wow! What a ride it has been so far. We are in our infant stage but making great progress. Stay tuned for more info on the new biz.
I have been on the board of directors for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services of Florida for about 5 years now and have recently been appointed Chairman of the Board. It is a great honor they elected me to chair their outstanding organization. I hope you enjoy this blog site, I am trying to put up new information as quick as I can to help keep people informed on hearing loss and the effects of losing your hearing.
